In response to the needs of the community, Putnam Hospital Center plans a major capital improvements project. With an estimated cost of $15 million, this is the first such capital improvement in nearly twenty-five years.
capital fund raising campaign:
A major capital fund raising campaign, will help fund construction and renovation for the hospitals needed capital improvements ensuring the delivery of high-quality health care for the community well into the next century. Specifically, PHC seeks to raise a minimum of $8 million towards the estimated $15 million capital improvements project for construction of a new Ambulatory Care & Surgery Facility, construction of a new Birthing Center, renovation and expansion of the existing Emergency Department.
Since opening its doors in 1964, the Hospital's mission has been to positively influence the health status of the people in the community by providing the highest quality health care. Today, that mission remains a powerful and compelling force. To fulfill it properly however, the Hospital must prepare for the future.
we need your help!
With no other viable sources of revenue, the planned capital campaign is a critical step to assure accessibility to high quality care while satisfying the growing demand by the populations within Putnam Hospital Center's service areas. To ensure achieving the minimum $8 million capital campaign goal, the entire Hospital family of board members, physicians, staff and grateful patients, together with the individuals and corporations in the community, are being asked to exceed their usual levels of giving and consider making exceptional gifts.
As in 1964, with the opening of the hospital, and in 1973 with the construction of the Reed Wing, we are at a crossroads for the future of healthcare in Putnam County.
